Our last stay in England before heading into Wales was a beautiful rural stay in Stretton.
Here we enjoyed a day out visiting the town of Shrewsbury which is built from 17th century Tudor buildings. The high street also boasts a high number of unique independent retail shops.
We were lucky as the day we visited was Market Day. We brought a homemade walnut and fig loaf of bread which didn’t last long.
Also on another adventure, we went for a walk along Allen Coppice Trail in Stretton. This trail was full of timber sculptures. We found ourselves in a forest surrounded by bears!!!
The temperature was plummeting at 4pm, even Mr Squirrel tail bristled out due to the 4 degree chills. We headed back to enjoy the warm fire.
Makes me think of Midsomer Murders. No old Zephyrs or Austins though.
