๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ Salamanca & Segovia

SEGOVIA

We then left Madrid and made the short (mountain) drive to Segovia – famous for its cobbled streets and amazing Roman aqueduct. ย This aqueduct was built to allow water to flow down into the town from the mountains. So impressive – nothing holding the stones together – blows your mind to think that things like this were built over 2000 years ago!

There was another amazing cathedral, and some very unusual pastries!!

SALAMANCA

We then made our way to our rest stop – Salamanca – a beautiful town by the riverside. ย We went for a stroll along the old Roman bridge and Kim spotted a local otter just relaxing!

  1. Hi Kim & Rob
๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธYour adventures sound absolutely perfect and amazing with moments that take your breath away. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ

WOW!! The architecture in the buildings you visit is outstanding. The blue ceramic painted tiles at the station are just gorgeous! I really loved your Porto pad. Itโ€™s so funky and cosy/romantic with the beautiful angular shapes of reflected light and shadows and not to mention being blessed each day with that most pretty ocean view. Good job with navigating those hilly windy roads Rob ๐ŸŒต๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜‚. Youโ€™re a brilliant hubby (NB. English accent required here when saying โ€˜brilliantโ€™ ) You both look so happy and relaxed – so good to see! love and miss you both. If your boys need anything at all whilst youโ€™re away please let us know. Merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ„ and lots of happiness for the season from Josh and Trish. XX

  2. Thinking of you and hope youโ€™re going really well and having lots of great adventures x Happy New Year ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ
