WALKING AROUND LONDON

Christmas time is a great time to travel as the streets are a blaze with beautiful lights.

The photos below are taken in Mayfair as on the Monopoly Game a very expensive property area.

HONEST BURGERS

We tried our third burger change called Honest Burgers for lunch today. They had great chips and onion rings. And no we don’t feel guilty as we need the carbs after all our walking.

HAMLEYS

Rob wanted to show me Hamleys the biggest toy store on Earth over five levels of just toys and it was crowded. A child’s dream!

I think Paddington Bear had the right idea to escape the crowds.

HARRODS

Another famous shop is Harrods. Here you can buy anything as long as you have the money. We just checked out the Egyptian Room and of course ย the Food Market.

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

Our day is only just beginning when we arrived at the Natural History Museum. It is free and has some amazing exhibits of animals.

DINNER IN LONDON

Time for dinner at an Indian Restaurant. This was our first dinner out in London. Very cute restaurant.

WEST END

Then date night to watch the stage show of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which Rob loved. You can’t go to London without going to see a musical at West End. There are so many different musicals to choose from. We did book well in advance!!! but to save money you can buy last minute tickets to London’s West End theatre shows but you need to be flexible about when and what you are seeing.

We checked out the Lego train at Covent Garden. We watched this train being built the night before on a TV documentary called Lego Christmas.
