LONDON
We set out on a clear crisp Christmas Eve day heading for a two kilometre adventure to experience Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. We saw our second cheeky squirrel heading madly to the Christmas sales.
I learnt a lot about the London weather it’s just like Melbourne weather four seasons in one day. Lucky Rob and I were prepared with our penguin outfits. I felt like I had tunnel vision.
We still loved the walk as there was a lot to see on the way. Regent’s Park was very pretty. I think walking is our thing come sun, wind or rain. Tie up those walking shoes and enjoy what’s around you.
MADAME TUSSAUD’S
Into the Wax Works and Rob’s favourite was the Star Wars exhibition.
TRAFALGAR SQUARE
Heading back outside and once again the rain had disappeared and blue skies had returned at Trafalgar Square.
These guys are levitating in mid air!!
Doctor Who your transportation is still alive.
COVENT GARDEN
We love Covent Garden Shopping Market area, full of nice shops and good quality arts and craft market. These soaps are the best I have ever seen too good to use.
I love the vintage clothes shops here. A great place to find some great bargains. A girl’s dream!
Nice Christmas street lights in another nice area.
We tried a gourmet burger place for lunch called Byron Burger. I think we will just try them all as there is so many here in London.
