Rob still not 100 percent. ย We reluctantly left our apartment in Lucerne today. ย Such a lovely part of the world. ย A shame we didn’t get more time to see more of it. ย Kim bought some funky gloves at the local Xmas market and then we hopped on the first of two trains that will take us to Paris. It is a 4 hr trip from Zurich.ย A final farewell to the Chapel Bridge in Lucerne. Rob now seeing it with in better health!
Got to eat my favourite vegan Indian back at Zurich Christmas market. I could live on this but none for Rob today. Hope this was not what made him sick on our way through. Cost 15 francs but I only had 11 but they still gave it to me! They must have felt sorry for me – Poor Ozzie Traveller!
Here is our TGV fast train to Paris just arriving behind me. Check out my badges on my coat. Rob decided we would collect them from places on our travels. Easy souvenir to carry with us as they don’t take up space. You just have to be careful the back of the pins are on property. Now I have tourist written all over me!
I love the sound of the Christmas markets. The buildings in all the photos look gorgeous. Xx
Hey Trish we always find one special thing to eat at each market. At the Paris Christmas markets snails were on offer but we went for the hand slice kettle cook potato crisps with added paprika. What’s life without food. Love Kim
